There are entire books and documentaries dedicated to the topic of having a bucket list. Most of those illustrated, however, are big dreams or trips that are impossible to achieve for the average person, but they don’t they have to be. It is a part of our sense of adventure that we find ourselves wanting to visit new places, ideas and exciting opportunities. It makes sense then that creating a bucket list might even have positive effects on our health and our happiness. There are a plethora of experiences waiting for us that are easily affordable and suitable for everyone.

When we have hobbies that we love, build relationships in the local community, or otherwise find activities that lower our stress levels, our bodies thank us, both mentally and physically. Planning those activities on your bucket list might encourage you to think in a different, but creative way. Just imagine what happens when you start learning that violin that you have always wanted to play. In addition, helping others has been shown to improve our overall health while improving other people’s mood. There are many activities, directly related to health and not, that can increase well-being just by the character of their novelty.

S. Stibbards & Sons have created this blog post to help you decide what you might want to add to your bucket list. Additionally, if you think that some of the ideas here might be of interest to friends or family, then please feel free to share this blog post with them.
