For those on a budget or who may wish for the minimum of services, We offer a number of ‘prescribed’ service options. These options come with some limitations and are intended to provide a dignified service to the bereaved whilst honouring our commitment to care for all, no matter their circumstance or wishes. Our Medway funeral package offers two options to suit every family’s needs.

Option A - £2,115

Bringing your loved one into our care from a local address within 15 miles of our office
The attention of our dedicated staff to make and guide you through the funeral arrangements and administration
Provision of the ‘Medway Coffin’ fitted and furnished, suitable for cremation or burial

We will prepare and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of our ‘Medway Coffin’
We will care for and accommodate your loved one for up to 21 days prior to the funeral at our centrally located care facility
Provision of the classic* hearse, proceeding directly to the nearest crematorium (Southend or Basildon)
Four bearers on the day of the funeral to carry the coffin or assist the family to carry the coffin
A Funeral Director on the day of the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

The funeral will take place before 10am or after 3pm on a day chosen in collaboration with the family
We will set-up and allow you to take ownership of your own online donations and memory page

Option B - £2,755

Bringing your loved one into our care from a local address within 15 miles of our office

Provision of the ‘Medway Coffin’ fitted and furnished, suitable for cremation or burial

We will prepare and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of our ‘Medway Coffin’
We will care for and accommodate your loved one for up to 21 days prior to the funeral at our centrally located care facility
Provision of the classic* hearse, proceeding directly to the nearest crematorium (Southend or Basildon)
Four bearers on the day of the funeral to carry the coffin or assist the family to carry the coffin
A Funeral Director on the day of the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

Dressing your loved one in their own clothes and Embalming
Use of the Chapel of Rest at the Funeral Home where arrangements are made, three visits during office hours. (Excludes Benfleet)
The Hearse to leave from a local address within 5 miles of the arrangement office

Whats not included?

Specific choice of date and time of funeral service – we will work with you to find a mutually convenient time
Bringing the deceased into our care beyond a 15-mile radius (an additional mileage charge will apply)
Support and assistance in placing floral orders, newspaper notices and uploading crematorium Media Services
A separate funeral service or celebration taking place before proceeding to the local crematorium or cemetery
A limousine to follow the hearse (limousines are only available with our select arrangements)
A choice of coffin (choice of coffin only available with our select arrangements)
Third party fees (disbursements)

Taking of locks of hair, fingerprints or portions of ashes (per item) £15.00
Additional accommodation above 21 days at the family’s request, from day of arrangement (per day) £15.00

Service at Upminster, Bentley or Chelmsford Crematoria (additional mileage and attendance fee) £155.00
